Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “THIS M170 WILLIS ARMY 4X4 JEEP IS IN EXTREMELY NICE CONDITION IN AND OUT, SHEET METAL IS PERFECT. THIS JEEP WAS RESTORED BY A FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THERE USE. THE CHASSIS HAS ROUGHLY 25,000 TOTAL MILES AND UNDER 3,000 TOTAL MILES ON NEW REBUILT ENGINE. IT IS STILL 24 VOLT WATERPROOF WIRING AND ALL RUNNING GEAR IS REBUILT AND ORIGINAL. THE ONLY MODIFICATION WERE THE NEW PAINT AND ALL NEW FIRE EQUIPMENT. IT HAS A NEW 100 GALLON TANK, NEW HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, PLUS NEW HOSE, A ELECTRIC HOSE REEL. IT STARTS, RUNS AND DRIVES LITERALLY AS NEW AND EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT THE FULE GAGE(NEEDS NEW SENDING UNIT) ALWAYS KEPT INSIDE AND IS CURRENTLY TITLED AND LICENSED. EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS.”

“1947 Jeep Willys CJ-2a with an old 1946 title. Comes with an MB style windshield. No engine but has stock transmission. Floors and body need work. Good project or custom hotrod. Can deliver a reasonable distance for gas. ”
