“1950 Jeep Willys Panel. Very unusual panel truck, most of these Jeeps had side windows. This is a 2 WD with what we believe to be a Chrysler 383 with an automatic transmission. They never completed the engine installation and the engine is locked up. The body is very straight and rust free and would make a great project. We have a title for this vehicle and can arrange shipping anywhere. For questions call Rich 719-338-1053.”
Anyone know what happened to this Willys? It was one was my first car and I have been looking for it for a bit.
JJ … I couldn’t say who bought it. You could always try the seller’s phone number? He likely listed it on craiglist. I spotted it there and shared the link with readers, so he probably did not know it was on eWillys.

I stumbled across this on a google search. I bought this about 10 years ago from Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs. It is currently going through an extreme face lift. Yes, it took me a number of years to get started on this project. It is in Minnesota now. Still has a peace sign on the roof!

Hi Dan,
I am glad it went to a good home. I was really hoping it did not get crushed at the junk yard. I was looking to see if it was still for sale when I sent the inquiry.
I’d be glad to post some progress pictures if I knew how. The body is now sitting on a 2001 Corvette ZO6 chassis and complete drive train. Hopefully will go on the Hot Rod Power Tour some day. Building this one for long hauls!
JJ Pixler, It would really be nice to know a little history on this truck if you care to share. It looked like it had some great stories behind it! A lot of modifications in the past.
