Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000
(10/25/2010) This has the 3 data plates, so it’s a pre #46000ish CJ-2A. The driver’s side has seen a major repair. It also has a rear PTO.

$15,000, but he will take $12,500 if you take the cash…
Photos look great but all the paint is brushed on where owner could get access. The passenger side metal has more major repair than the driver side (as noted above by previous poster) and not using spec. type panels (1/8 steel plate). Also the front frame horns have been replaced with non spec. materials. Nice driver but not near what could be called “restored”.
Great driver around town, but really needs a lot work if you are looking for a restored CJ2A.
