The handles you mention on the headlights are headlight guards. They were also used on the military M38 jeep. They are listed as such on the Beachwood Canvas parts site under the M38 parts section.Just for your info.

Thanks Lester! Yeah, I knew the M-38s used them, but didn’t know what they were called (I guess I should have looked that up)! 🙂

The ’45 date refers to the trailer. However, the seller says the Willys is a ’48, which still isn’t correct … It could mean the body has been rebuilt on a ’48 frame, which definitely drops the value.

I did not know that. In fact, I’ve relisted this for so long I can’t remember why I thought it was a M606 in the first place.

The Mitsubishi M606 had the vented windshield. This jeep looks to have MB black out lights on it and wheels off of A M151. If it does not have settings on the passenger side for the ax and shovel, then it is A cj3b. I am sure of this because I am lucky enough to own one. You still have A nice jeep.

Thanks Mark. I didn’t know the M-606 had the indents. I looks like it has the m-151 wheels, too. The trailer looks solid, too.
