The auction for this has expired, however this is still an interesting vehicle that made the cover of the 1976 Four Wheeler Magazine. Looks like it is part jeep and part truck.

The box looks like an old military 1/4 ton trailer.
Oh yeah, now that you say it that does look like a trailer.

Bob, I was hoping you might know. Maybe that issue has some additional pictures of it.
this jeep sits in the barn at my house.. grandpa bought it from an old farmer in the early 70’s maybe, and yes it is an old trailer mated to a jeep.. the jeep has won many many trophies while he raced it in the 70’s-early 80’s

It still runs but doesn’t get out very often. Back then it had a 283 Chevrolet motor since then it’s been switched to a stock 305. If you google gravelrama it shows up In a few pictures from petersons 4wheel. It’s sat in our barn for most of the last 25 years. It got out and revamped a little for the 40th anniversary of gravelrama in 2010. It mainly got used as a trail rider and would go racing with it on weekends of no rides. If you get me an email I can try to come up with some pictures of it in its hay-day. Also the jeep is named hayshaker.. Well now it’s “old hayshaker” as we have 3 other jeeps with the name.
