This is a project. If you use the ‘buy it now’ feature the seller will throw in some extras.
“Up for auction is a 1943. Ford GPW WWII Jeep. I started this restoration some time ago but I am forced to seel in order to help my family with current medical issues.
The vehicle is a ground up restoration.
The frame has been straightened and welded to original spec.
Front and rear bumpers are attached correctly. No huge welds or railroad ties used to reinforce.
Front and rear axles have been rebuilt. Master cylinder and wheel cylinders are new and fully functional. Motor has been rebuilt and runs very good. I use a Solex Carb because It just works. It’s an easy fix to bolt up a WWII Carter.
Starter was rebuilt as is the 12 volt generator.
Steering has been rebuilt ad is tight. No wobble.
New parts for push rods and pitman arms.
Still need toe in adjusted.
New tires on very good original rims.
This jeep has no tub. I was going to have Ron bring one out to the next show.
I have the following extra parts.
Windshield, rebuilt with all trim. I have the vaccuum system for the wipers still in a box.
All F marked grab handles and bow bracket mounts. No bows
Two F marked front seats.
Grill with buckets and lights. (Headlight bulbs are junk)
If you use the buy it now I will throw in the Stretchers, WWII repro IV bottles, and other medic stuff. As I was going to make it into a Medic jeep.”
