The seller notes their was a ‘certified’ appraisal for $16,000 before additional work was done. That seems a bit high to me.

“ERTIFIED APPRAISAL FOR $16,800 DATED JANUARY 3, 2013. THIS WAS BEFORE THE ENGINE REBUILD AND DETAIL! Appraisal available below. 48,000 Original Miles! Rare split window.

1957 Jeep Willys Flatbed Truck. Restored in 2010 including:
-Body taken down to bare metal, minimal rust repaired with metal, sandblasted, primed and repainted. All professionally done.

Truck runs and drives fantastic, looks great and is ready for the show or cruise. Body is LASER straight. Not a ding, dent or scratch anywhere in the paint.”

Wow, I could pick this one apart with imperfections… I can’t see bids going any higher than the 6 to 8k range……. if that

The sellers appear to have found a good niche. They are flipping vintage 4x4s that 1) have been poorly marketed (usually on craigslist), 2) can pass for stock and 3) are ready to be driven. Most people just don’t know what these vehicles are supposed to look like; I’m not even sure 100% of the time on some details.
