This stock jeep in original condition includes a Sears trailer.

You are bidding on a 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep.  This jeep has not been restored and is in original condition.  As you can see in the photos the life of this jeep is easily documented from the day it was ordered until today.  It started out life in New Hampshire where it was purchased for farm life.  Shortly after purchase the owner died and the jeep sat for many years.  A car collector who lived next to the farm took the jeep in but never used it.  That is who I purchased it from and have been the proud owner for the past 20+ years.  Please note that Connecticut is not a title state, so I do not have a title to go with this jeep.  I never got one and can not supply you with a title.   The jeep, in perfect running condition, has 7218 miles on it as of today.  Hopefully you can see in the photos how nice the body is, but if you can’t and you would like to come see the jeep in person and give it a test drive you are more than welcome to come and inspect it for yourself.   (read more below)

“The drivetrain is perfect and the jeep drives and feels like it is brand new.  Steering is tight, engine runs perfectly, brakes are like new, the jeep is ready to drive and needs nothing, not even and oil change.  The body is in amazing shape no holes anywhere, no heavy rust anywhere.  The original tailgate is there with the body number in it, the toolbox is intact, and the floors show no signs of wearing thru anytime soon.   As you can see in the photos you are going to get everything I have with this jeep, bill of sale, original tool kit, jack, lug wrench, etc… The original fan belt was on the jeep when I got it and is still stamped Willys on it.  I took it off to keep it safe. You will see there are two keys in the photos, these are both original Hurd keys.  They fit into the original keyed coil.    The jeep was ordered with a chaff screen which is in perfect condition and a rear seat that was never installed.  The top bows still have the original paint on  them.   I have a top for it, but it is in tender condition.  It is a full top, but the windows are all cracked or missing.  Door frames and all bows are there.  Also when this jeep was purchased the original owner went out and got a 1946 Sears trailer to go along with it.   There is a photo of it, but it is taken apart and ready to be shipped.  I have a very solid offer on the jeep from overseas and I am getting it ready to be shipped in a container in case it does not sell here.  If you are following my liquidation of jeep items you will see that I would love for everything to stay here in the USA but there does not seem to be much interest any more.  Luckily the CJ2A fire jeep found a local owner that I just sold.   Anyway back to this Jeep, you will see there is also a set of the very first Warn locking hubs in the original box that go along with this jeep.    This jeep has been forgotten by time and is a true piece of history.  I have restored many, many Jeep vehicles in the past 25 years and there is just something about a complete original Willys that can not be duplicated by any amount of restoration.  I have not seen another jeep this nice in the 20+ years that I have owned it.  Look over the photos and let me know if you need any more information, I am sure there are things I am forgetting.  And please do not wait until the auction is over to try to buy it.  It will have a home overseas if it does not sell here this time.  If you are serious about owning the nicest, original CJ2A in the world then now is the time to buy it. “
