    It was a company that made adapters for jeeps. One of the first to make them. I think they started
    in the early fifties. My flatfender was the last one they converted before they closed their shop.

    They made adapters for the drive train. Engine to transmission and transmission to transfer case.
    From what I was told that they made the first adapter for a ford three speed to a dana model 18
    But they never had a patent for the adapter. The name of the company was Hoosier Machine Product
    Company. They closed in the early 80s. The guy that ran the shop was Don Page he was the one who
    had the idea for for ford adapter.
