“Quite the classic. Easily the most commented-upon car I’ve ever driven, you really can’t go anywhere without questions and compliments.
This was my mom’s toy and daily driver for many years. A generally good condition, pretty original specimen. Not all hacked-up like almost all of the ones you see around and just new enough to go on the freeway in it’s original trim.
The motor is the “super-hurricane” flat-head 6 cylinder it runs fine with a recent valve job. The transmission was rebuilt before we bought it and holds all gears nicely uphill and down, there is an old Warn “all range” overdrive that allows highway speeds with no undue strain on the motor, drivetrain or driver. It also gives you a total of 12 forward and 4 reverse speeds for offroading or just showing-off.

It has 4 new replica wheels with tires that have under 1k on them, selected for a correct look and style for the old truck. Some very nice white oak and mahogany sideboards were made a few years back and are included as well.
The changes that were made so my mom could trust it as a daily driver: 12v electrical, larger custom gas tank, fuel injection and electronic ignition. All implemented so they can easily be reversed, the old gas tank and carb and such are included. Any of the window glass that was delaminating has been replaced and set in new seals and felting. Also included is a box of random parts, bearings, tailgate hinge stuff, oil, service manuals, etc.
There is a little rust but it’s on nice, flat panels so easy to fix and the paint is not perfect but looks good enough for the public to be impressed.
Over a decade ago it took many months and a trip to Washington to find a Willys truck this drivable and original, it was $10K then several more in repairs and restoration. With fairly minor work this truck could move from good to amazing. Unfortunately my mother has a condition that really won’t allow her to manage the clutch anymore and I don’t need another vehicle so here it is for sale.”

Yeah nice truck… someone put a lot of effort into it, including three point seat belts.
