This is interesting, the first left hand drive postal type fleetvan I have ever seen. From those I know who worked in the Post Office, the left hand drives were used by P O supervisors, with only one going to a post office; usually in a large metropolitan city.

I bought this and it is at its new home in Crossville, Tennessee. It is not a left hand drive but right hand drive. If you look at the picture from the rear view you can just see the top of the steering wheel on the right side. I plan to start restoration of it in the very near future. If anyone knows of places to get parts please leave me a post or if you know of magazine articles or anything else that would help me in the process.
I also have a 1955 and 1966 Divco milk trucks that will be started soon also.
Thanks for any help that could be offered.

In two day I’m picking some FJ manuals and other items. I’ll see what I get (I bought a pile of stuff sight unseen). I’ll check and see if they would be helpful for you. You might also try the FC forum. A variety of those guys also own FJs. http://members4.boardhost.com/jeepfc/

    Scott,

I’ve just picked up some original FJ manuals and parts books. Do you have those?

Yes I was given some with the vehicle when I purchased it. I found them in a box in the back of the van.
    Thanks,
    Scott

this is now for sale again. relocation forces sale. I have this and 2 Divco Milktrucks for sale and which ever sells first goes and the left over goes with me to restore. Just can’t take all 3 with me. the sale price on this is not correct. It was sold for quite a bit more than that ($3500 to be exact). Best offer over that price. Thanks for your consideration. Email me or call or text 931-787-9000.
