UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on ebay.

Designed for carrying hunting dogs and more makes this an unusual FC.

“Up for auction is this unique 1958 Jeep FC-170. This is a Forward Control model with a 3-speed manual shift. The previous owner had the rear body fabricated especially for hunting. The hunting body features upper and lower seats that still have the original protectors on them. The body was designed for transporting and running hunting dogs. It features kennels for the dogs, coolers, a water tank, and racks for holding guns. This is a well designed and built unit, with solid doors, sturdy frame, it even has cushioned armrests on the hunting seats. The upgraded front bumper features a wench. Previous owner said that the mileage shown was original.

This Jeep has currently been started up and driven a small distance. The engine sounds great and the brakes seem to be working. The headlights are also working. The wench on the front has not been tested out. This is a solid and pretty complete Jeep for a 1958. The previous owner kept it in a garage since 1976 (the last time it was registered). It does need new tires and a brake checkup, once those are done it should be ready for use.

The cab is in good shape, the floor pans are solid.”

There’s a 1958 Pennsylvania license plate on the floor in one photo, maybe that’s where it originally came from.

A modified Ramsey winch bumper with the original PTO winch it looks like to me. Really like to pick the owners brain on the history of this ride. Load that baby up with some Coon Hounds along with Granny & Jed ridin’ up top and you’d be a parade favorite!

I see the winch, but where is the wench? Would be a great accessory to a successful hunting trip! Neat hunting rig for sure!

It looks like the sign in the back says Braymans. There is a Braymans Powder coating in Ocala. 352-622-6686.

I suspect this probably sold. I haven’t seen it relisted in a while. However, you never know.
