UPDATE: Was $15,5000. **Status Unknown**

Joe dropped by the Scottsdale show and spotted this nice looking truck. He writes, “Great show with hundreds of cars Jan and I attended (McDonalds Rock and Roll Car Show) at the Pavillion Shopping Center in Scottsdale today.  Only a couple of WWII jeeps, but I thought you might like this Willys Pickup for sale.  With Barrett Jackson nearby, ending tomorrow, a lot of folks have show car fever. This one looked good enough for the Auction.

Nice truck (later cab with the big rear window?), but IMO you’d think the seller would put on nicer taillights to match the rest of his work.

You have to leave a “little seed” for the next owner to do! This is a nice truck and you don’t see many of the later ones with 2WD.

Ok scramboleer is right i noticed that instantly as well!

seeing as we have a small rear window 52 Willys Resto Mod in the garage right now
there is no way that is a 51

from what i can see it is at least a 54-56 based on the fact of

    large rear window
and a centered three bar grille …53′-56′ 58′- 63′ 57′ was 3 bar offset toward the top
and i can see the little round air intake for the heater in the right front corner of grille now i do not know when they started that but our truck is a 52 has a 5 bar grille and it does not have that round hole in it.

my guess is that he took parts from a couple differnt trucks and assembled them seeing as nothing changed
you can take parts off of a 61 doors, grille, hood, fenders, and such and put them on a 53 and they will fit and work just fine! that is how little to nothing has changed.

We also take our truck to the Pavilions as well most every Saturday. You cant miss us in the big white extended cab Willys sitting on a 94 Chevy K2500 running gear with the 454 in it and the wide front end and you can hear us before you can see us.
But this weekend we did not owing to the fact it is Barrett Jackson week and we did not want to even try to fight our way in was out last weekend for Russo Steele and won $100 best truck category in judging contest
also we are doing some repairs on the truck and are waiting on parts to come in but hoping to be out there again next weekend
providing owner does not really tear truck down for repairs like we been wanting to to fix the A/C and the gauges and radiator then it will be a month before you see the truck at pavilions again
