“Survivor – except original engine/transmission…and everything under the hood lost! Original seats (black) in good condition, smooth, comfortable, no tears, no bumps. Side curtains are clear and in good condition. Top in good condition, too – one snap missing, IIRC. Boot cover in good shape. Rear, plastic window clear and in good condition, as the pictures show. Ran great for fifteen years; not so good after my mechanic lost the engine and stuff.

All original except the paint job. Willys dealer in Tacoma was original owner thru 1980, and gave it a great (heavy-duty) fire-engine red paint job. Chip on rear bumper deck shows car was originally yellow. No evidence of there ever being side steps. Glass good. Chrome good.

Everything is straight on this Jeepster – All gauges & radio worked when last running. Outstanding heater! Interior very straight. Gangster-wall tires have new inner tubes. Since forced inactivity, it’s been up on jack stands. Always been covered and garaged while I owned it. Included custom Jeepster-fitted cover from LA company.

I am the third owner – and have had it over thirty years. Briefly owned by a little-old-lady-retired-schoolteacher who moved it from from Tacoma to Morro Bay. I didn’t put many miles on it, just drove it around the Bay Area and up into the foothills. Very rarely driven in the rain.

Someone snatched the horn ring. The carpet isn’t original…, originally it had mats. Besides a fingernail-sized the paint chip on the rear bumper deck (visible in pics), the only problem with the body is a small rust spot over the right rear tire, smaller than a silver dollar last time I looked.

Always thought I’d get a parts car…. Have manual and a “collectable” catalog from Morris Ratner, “the Jeepsterman” from New Jersey. Looking through my file, the only thing I bought were bulbs, oil/filters and windshield wipers.

Never thought I’d sell it, but it’s time for someone else to enjoy “Old Betsy.” You probably won’t find a better, unrestored (engineless) car out there. Prefer to sell to a “Jeepster person.” Car titled in California.”
