I’ll provide some more information on the 1944 Willys Overland Annual Report that I’ve scanned, but I don’t have time tonight. Instead, here’s some fun reading from the report. I’ve combined two of the pages into one image. This comes from an anonymous donor kind enough to share this (and other) documents so I can scan and share them with you.

All of these examples are basically Willys’ “brainstorming”. They had a new & unique product, and had to try to create a consumer market for it that just didn’t exist yet.
Jeepotentiality #2 seems to be proven by so many present day owners of WW2 and early CJ jeeps that can trace previous ownership to World War 2 veterans. Lots of vets must have appreciated the jeep enough during the war to the point where they had to eventually get one.
