(02/24/2014) It’s missing some trim on both sizes and could use some paint. It has potential.

Resurfaced Head, Resurfaced Matched Intake/Exhaust Manifolds, Two-Barrel Intake, Rebuilt Two-Barrel Stromberg Carb., Good Compression. Good Oil Pressure, Newer Water Pump, New Belt, New Fuel Pump, New Battery. New Master Cylinder, Rebuilt Wheel Cylinders, Replaced Fuel Tank, Clear Title.

    Looks like a government/GSA data plate on the glovebox. Wonder what the story is – state or federal rig?

    Some of the green paint showing through is the same color used by the US Forest Service , Department of Agriculture and several other Federal agencies. Probably not a US Border Patrol vehicle though as those were Parkway Conversions from my days growing up on the Mexican Border in the 50s and 60s.
