UPDATE: See all of April 18th’s activities here

We had a great day. There was Monopoly, Pez, Ramen with Dan, and sunset drinks at the Distillery in Moss Beach with my friend Jack. So, more on Friday’s adventure at some point Saturday. For now, I have this one pic. I don’t drink often, but when I do, it is a martini, next to a fire pit, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, as the sun sets. That’s a good way to end the day.

Except for the martini (I’d rather have a Margarita) it looks like a perfect way to end the day.

We missed the ghost?!? Aww. The sunset must have distracted us (or the drinks). It’s a great place!

Great to meet you Dan. At the pace of our current day, the post for Friday’s adventures probably won’t make it out until tonight. But, I can tell you that Ann has a whole new appreciation for Ramen. That led me to doing research on how to make real Ramen. It turns out Kinsui is a key ingredient, one that can be roughly replicated by baking baking soda for an hour. And, apparently many Chinese recipes use baked baking soda rather than just baking soda . . . much more research needed (in part this is the reason why I didn’t get this morning’s post done — I was too busy researching the topic).

David, to relive your quality Pacific-side martini time you may have to increase to frequency of your evening cocktail hours the rest of the year. I think a martini far from the coast will take you right back there, and that would be time well spent.

Steve, while true, I believe that there is an inverse relationship between alcohol and post production. Meaning as the number of drinking nights increase the number of updates decrease. So I shall ‘relive’ that evening in moderation 🙂
