(03/04/2014) It looks like this has been jacked up or has an spring over mod.
“My Jeep is in fair condition for it’s age. I’m pretty sure the clutch went out the last time I drove it. It should start with a fresh battery. I had just spent over $2000 replacing the entire brake system. The Jeep has been sitting for about 2 years. The registration is current, I have the pink slip in my possession.”
“Over” $2000 to replace the entire brake system? Did he replace it all twice? Maybe he replaced it with a disc brake upgrade… or that $2000 includes labor at California prices?
I’m probably over-reacting… but that cost seems high.
$1500 seems like a fair price …no matter what the brake job cost. Even if you have to do some clutch work, it’s a running jeep with clean title and current reg. Pretty cool, with a lot of potential.
