65 Willys Jeep two door station wagon.. we used for hunting for many years.. it ranWhen we parKed it 4 years ago.. everything works and all original seats including single back seat and two person seat. It used to be a military vehicle so the 65 on the title is not correct it’s probably 61 or 62, grandpa always said.. So who knows.. text or call me. It’s $1500 as is, but I’m working slowly on it so more I do more it’s gonna cost you..”

That ’65 Title could be real especially with military credentials. These could be special ordered long after the Wagoneer came on board and usually had the Tornado 230 OHV engine which the military used frequently. I’d love to see that ID Plate.

If the picture were better, the delivery date is on the brass nomenclature plate, which would give away the year model. I can believe it was a ’65 because plastic amber front turn signals were used in ’64 & ’65. My ’66 CJ has the same amber lights. It’s definitely a US Government vehicle because of the nomenclature plate. The best way for me to guess where it came from would be the original paint color. I don’t see a USFS green color anywhere. I wonder if the dark blue interior was original paint? Maybe it was an old Navy vehicle with all the local Naval facilities in that area. I’d like to sand down the doors to look for markings.

This definitely had an OHC 6-230 Tornado engine, based on the firewall cutout shape. Someone put a Ford V8 in there. Nice front PTO Winch!
