“I have decided to get out of the old Jeep hobby and sell all of my remaining vehicles and parts. I will attempt to sell everything to one buyer first and if no singe buyer emerges I will list everything separate.

I have:

1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A,

L-134 flathead 4 cylinder with less than 2000 miles on rebuild, Solex carb, Petronix ignition and 12 volt conversion. T90/18 trans and transfer case, Dana 44 rear. Body was taken off frame and repaired with pop riveted sheet metal. Floor boards and hat channels were replaced along with tool compartment floor. The Jeep is not original in anyway but is period correct. Nothing on this Jeep came on a 1946 Jeep. The windshield frame is off a 1942 GPW, the hood off a 49, body tub somewhere around 1950, engine is late 40’s or early 50’s, transfer case and transmission are earlier pieces with equal length handles, etc. It has been rebuilt dozens of times over its life.

Paint is rattle can and looks like it, but the body is very solid.

New gauges except fuel, no fuel gauge in vehicle. Tail lights are new and headlights and marker lights work. No turn signals, horn, or wipers. No top.

Brand new 31×9.5×15 super Swamper TSL Radial tires on new Pro Comp steel wheels. Less than 200 miles on these, paid over $1,000 for them. Also have 5 original steel 16″ rims with NDT tires on them that are included.

Overall Jeep runs great and drives like a old farm tractor. Does not pop out of any gear. Leaks from almost everywhere but nothing major that requires fluid top off more than once a year.

Only problem with the Jeep is the rear axle needs a seal and bearing on the drivers side. Started growling slightly and leaking last week. Steering box could use rebuilt as well as there is quite a bit of slop.

Please do not consider this Jeep if you are looking for a daily driver. The top speed on these with their 5.38 gears is about 45mph. The 60hp engine and non-synchronized first gear along with non-power 9″ drum brakes make driving interesting. If you haven’t driven one of these the best way I can describe it is that they are like driving and old tractor or lawn mower….seriously.

In short, this is an excellent trail Jeep or hunting Jeep that can be driven on the street. It is not a candidate for restoration nor is it a daily driver.

I’ve owned this Jeep for 5 years and have put just under 2,000 miles on it. Honestly I’m getting older and tired of working on cars is the reason I’m selling. I’ve been messing with these Jeeps for 15 years and I’m over it. I’ve got a 2004 Wrangler I’m building and can’t afford two money pits.

Will sell without new tires and wheels and knock off $700

1953 Willys Jeep CJ-3B

Original numbers matching engine, trans and transfer case, front and rear axles. Bought this Jeep to use as parts, mainly for the frame since it is straight, but I’ve decided to get out of the hobby and am selling everything. Jeep is completely disassembled. Body is shot and sitting in a field and not worth restoring. Frame is good, engine is locked up, trans and transfer case are good, axles are good but front is missing cover I just removed for another axle a few months ago. 4 good 16″ original wheels.

If you need parts or want to buy a new body this would be a good Jeep for you.

1945 Ford GPW (Willys Jeep) parts, data plates, and title.

I’m liquidating all of my old Willys Jeep collection and have a few parts off a 45 GPW left to sell. This Jeep was too far gone to save so it was parted out and the body and frame were scrapped. The data plates are new reproductions with all of the original information, I do not have the originals. I also have the hood number that was on the original Jeep. All of this was written down by the previous owner and given to me when I bought the Jeep. The original glove box with tags were gone. The Jeep did have a valid title with valid GPW serial number that matched the DOD dates that were recorded off the tag.

My plan was originally to build a new Jeep with all reproduction new parts. I kept the transmission, transfer case, engine and axles from this Jeep and was going to buy a new body and frame to build a new one to drive. That was years ago and most of the parts were sold after inspection of the parts revealed that none matched the date range for a late 1945 GPW. With mostly MB or earlier GPW parts I ended up giving up on the project.

Jeep has a clear Missouri title in my name and is titled as a 1945 Jeep vin GPW271646

I am asking $500 for the remainder of the parts, data plates, and title.

Willys Jeep L134 flathead 4 cylinder engine.
This engine came out of a running driving CJ2A that Bass Pro Shops bought as a display Jeep for one of their stores.

Engine is free and supposedly ran great and was driven 60 miles with no issues by company personnel.
Also have two extra T-90 and D18 transfer cases that are included in this purchase.
$500 firm.

Purchased separately that is $5400 worth of Jeeps and parts.
I will sell to a single buyer for $4500
