Looks solid on the outside, but there’s a lot of diamond plating on the floor.

Not sure I agree with the seller: that paint job looks great as-is, and the interior is still solid and functional. I like this just the way it is :-).
It would also be perfect for a small business/shop to paint their name and logo on the doors, clear coat it all, and you’re in business (IMHO).
