(06/09/2014) Unclear why the battery has been installed outside the jeep.

The 12 volt battery is probably for the plow. The jeep is probably stil 6 volt.
Wonder what the PTO is running?
It is a newer plow. Maybe the Jeep use to have a PTO winch on the front.
