Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (12/19/2013) This Jeepster deserves a closer look. “Rare 1949 Willys Jeepster. Runs great. A FUN CAR! Needs minor TLC. Great overall condition. Has a V 8 with 3 Speed manual on the floor. Top in excellant condition. Needs a new home. Excellant parade car!”
The V8 is a Y Block Ford from the mid 1960s or very early 60s. 239, 272, 292, 312 cubic inches. It also looks to have different front suspension under it due to the way the front shocks are mounted. Probably a very nice car to drive.

Looks like a great price for a driver.
