Jeep Parts in Toledo, Ohio

You might remember the auction that took place on May 18th. Jay Margolies, the owner of the parts and operator of Willys Overland, reported to me yesterday that not much sold at auction. Jay would really like to sell these parts, preferably in large lots. If he can’t find a buyer, he may be forced to send them to salvage (which is not his preference). So, if are interested in obtaining parts, contact Jay Margolies at 419-531-0707.

List of parts.

The address on this auction is for Willys Overland out of Toledo Ohio. Is he going out of business or just selling all his inventory?

Good question. Also, the flyer shows old jeep bodies, but the pictures of the stuff to be auctioned don’t show any bodies. I found that confusing.

He’s been having some sales lately of stuff on craigslist. Not sure if it’s an inventory clearance or a going out of business thing.

This inventory started with Charles Dadlow at Jeep Acres, then went to Zach Heiser, and now Jay Margolies. Jay is getting rid of the used parts and some new ones. He wants to reduce the footprint (and overhead) to focus on the replitub business. If you are going to bid I highly recommend you go there in person for a preview. Several 2A page members were there in person recently. Some of the items pictured are already sold.

I agree with little willy, as I’ve already picked this too, not much left for wagon and truck guys, but lotsa tonnage for the CJ crowd, he wanted 75k for all about a month ago, I posted write up on old willys forum

Not surprised that much didn’t sell, not a whole lot of value in what was for sale. CJ5 hoods are a dime a dozen, you can’t give them away. The rust bucket vehicles are worth their weight in scrap metal. The after market New MADE IN CHINA parts big boys have ruined the used parts market. (you know who I’m talking about) These are my famous last words, (No more posting for me) I deal with reality, not illusion. I’m retreating to my garage and becoming that old guy I didn’t understand when I was a teenager.
