Jay spotted this one. Listed as a 1943 Military Jeep, this looks to me more like an early CJ-2A.

and its ambidextrous…was that ever a real thing?
When you say ambidextrous, is that because it is missing both spare tires?
This might be worth a closer look for someone nearby . Its got a rear gearbox and most likely the rest of the PTO setup ,and possibly some sort of three point hitch on back . Kinda tough to tell from pic ,might just be some added iron to the drawbar ,but you never know could be a newgren
I agree with Ted . It sure looks like one of those 3 pt hitch setups under the rear and yes its whats left of a VEC 2a.
