“Up for sale is our 1983 Postal Jeep DJ5 Dispatcher right hand drive made by AM General. Same company that produced the Hummer and other military vehicles. This is a 2.5L 4 cylinder 150 ci engine with a 904 Chrysler automatic transmission and Detroit Locker rear. This is a 4 X 2 vehicle specifically made for the United States Postal Service. One of the last years the DJ5 was produced.

Starts, runs and drives, no problem. Both driver and passenger doors are sliders.

New parts installed are a new fuel pump, starter, spark plugs, air filter, oil change. This vehicle comes with 2 new snow/mud tires on rims and the original mail tray, spare parts include: turn signals, wipers, fan, wiper motor, set of all three doors and the window glass.

Perfect for the farm, camp ground, the shore, or as a daily driver. I have even seen these used as ice cream trucks because they are right hand drive.

This is a 1983 and can be registered as classic in NJ for car shows and educational purposes.
