“1951 Willys CJ3A for sale with title in hand. Repainted several years ago by previous owner. Body appears to have never been off the frame, with original paint still visible on the underside of the vehicle and absolutely no rust! In the last 1,000 miles (Odometer shows ~13,000) I have completed/ had the following done:

-new head
-new head gasket
-rebuilt transmission (professionally done by Vintage Jeeps of Beasley, Texas)
-new starter professionally installed (also by V.J. of Beasley)
-new coil
-new points/rotor/cap
-new 12 volt horn (previous owner also installed a fun air horn under the hood that actuates fro a knob on the dash in case you really want to wake somebody up)
-new electric wiper motor (replace vacuum system)
-new windshield to cowl seal
-fresh plugs
-repair parking break
-new carburetor
-new fuel pump
-new gas tank
-new hard fuel lines
-fresh undercoating paint under original floor pans (no rust)
-fresh oil change, top off all major fluids
-added classic tow-rope to front bumper
-comes with a fresh windshield seal (needs to be installed, haven’t gotten to it yet)

Currently receiving a tune up and just passed a full year inspection (Registered as a classic currently, so still requires annual inspection) Additionally, the vehicle comes with a BesTop Tiger top with soft doors, and all hardware mounted to utilize it. Seats have fresh vinyl, no tears, and full bed coating inside the vehicle. Paint is about a 8.5/10 (couple small scratches, and small cracks on the hood) but shows extremely well. Tires have 80% tread, just rotated. Additionally, the vehicle comes with a (believed to be orignal) 1951 Texas license plate on the front bumper.

It’s a fun vehicle to drive and play with, but time for me to move on to another toy/project. Please call or text with questions, and before I get another call from a dealer in California asking if I want to sell on consignment, the answer is no thank you…”

I understand why people do the under coating and bed liners. It’s just tough to see that on a clean, original looking jeep.
