UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $9100.
(08/24/2015) Looks good fpr the price.
“Ford Army Jeep. Matching serial numbers on engine block, chassis, and body. OD finish, new top, new tires, new Brakes, brake lines, Front and rear end, transfer case, and transmission all rebuilt. Engine smokes but runs. 85% correct restoration, 95% complete restoration. Title in hand. Cash or certified check only.”
Looks to me like the outer windshield frame is from a French made Hotchkiss M-201. The bracket on the lower tube to the left of the driver side hold down latch is for the electrical component for the electric windshield wipers.
I like it :)…
I’m seeing vented rims, and a disconnected oil bath air cleaner.
The tool box latches look willys, but the lids ford… though I’ve come to understand that could be correct in ’45…
The smoking engine would likely keep it from passing even an “emissions exempt” inspection here in MA… what would be a round number to have an engine professionally redone?
The fuel tank body sump is missing and no sign of the extended fuel tank section.
Still available?
Tom,
I haven’t seen this relisted in a few months. I’ve updated the post. If I see it again I will drop you a note.
