    The York-Hoover factory is in my hometown. I drove by there today and took a few pictures of it. I found this article very interesting as I had no knowledge of the tie to my/our jeep addiction.
    The building is now in a sad state of disrepair, though part of it is still being used by someone.
    I am told that another company, perhaps the Pittman Co., used the building in later years to build service truck bodies for utility companies.

    I just bought a trailer enclosed made by york hover cor. number 1u76 cabt find any info on it I think it is an old millitery or an old telephone trailed taf said date 1955
