Looks like a lot there for the price, new soft top is probably $800. I assume it has a V-6 transplant (maybe original?). There should be plenty of used transfer cases available fairly cheap.
Aren’t those Renegade or Super Jeep stripes? And how does a D18 or D20 go bad? No oil?

Renegade have several different stripe styles, but nothing like the ones above.
Dad said the bearings in a Dana 18 didn’t last much more than 20k. The D20 should last longer, since the power isn’t transferred through as many gears. If muddy water sneaks in somehow, that would hurt the bearings as well.
