1951 CJ-3A & 1952 M-38A1 Jarrettsville, MD $2750

• CATEGORIES: M-38, M-38A1

Might be a good price. Seller lists one jeep as an M-38, but it looks to be a CJ-3A (thanks Mark).

“1951 M38 for restoration, $1250 1952 M38A1 for restoration, very complete $2750 Have titles for both”

The M38A1 looks complete and original. The other jeep appears to be a CJ-3A rather than a M38, but does appear to have some additional dash tags that could indicate govt. use.

Good point on the CJ-3A. That’s my bad. Since that one wasn’t in as good a shape I didn’t evaluate it closely enough.

I didn’t see the typical military light switch hole or a patch covering the hole. That might not make a difference but I look for it in an M38.

Dave, when the seller lists a vehicle as a certain model, I don’t think it is your job to determine if it is correct (you have enough to do). My point is since the seller is selling a M38A1 military vehicle, you would think he would have some knowledge of military vehicles (M38 vs. CJ-3A). I wonder what the title for that jeep states.

Mark .. just a matter of my own pride. I should have spotted that 🙂
