I thought the rims were unusual. I can’t remember running across these on any jeeps for sale.

This Renegade II was the second go around for the renegade. The wheels pictured are stock. The first were Renegade I’s. Jeep built 500 Green ones and 500 Purple ones as 1970 models. I ordered on of the green ones which my son still has. It came out with wide white steel rims, heavy duty springs and a chrome bumper, and a swing out spare tire carrier.

I’ve never seen those wheels on a Renegade I or II.. Or anything else for that matter. I’s used the 15 x 8 steel Kelsey Hayes wheels and II’s used the kidney bean slots. There were many more colors available for the Renegade I’s than listed above… My grandfather bought a Prairie Gold Renegade I in the fall of 1969, and his friend bought an Orange one. I’ve also seen light blue ones.
