It’s been stored for a while.
“I have owned this 1955 M38A1 Military Jeep for 39 years and for the past 29 years it has been stored indoors, it runs fine and is still in good shape. It has the original 4 cylinder overhead engine and has been rebuilt. Jeep body is original, brakes function but need some work.
I always intended to restore it to the original military look but lost interest and hope that someone else can take up where I left off.”
Note the 1966 Mustang bucket seats. The early Mustang bucket seats were a popular item for CJ Jeeps, nice fit and a whole lot more comfortable than the stock Jeep seats.
