The worst thing that ever happened to us (people who are interested in old jeeps, cars, etc) are these tv programs that buy & restore old cars. They pay too much, or say they do, and sell the vehicle for way way too much. Now, everyone who has a literal pile of scrap in their yard thinks they’re sitting on a gold mine. I hope that price is a misprint.
I think the price must have an extra 0, or maybe two extra 0’s at the end of it.
I agree with both of the above comments. All the hype on TV and jacked up auctions prices drive us out of the hobby.
And the American Pickers made it hard to buy good stuff cheap anymore too.
If he wants $5500 for that pile of crap,amagine what the pickup stuff looks like for $1500.
