I sure hope they’ve updated this bridge!

“You are bidding on an original press photo of Truck & Jeep Cross Pontoon Bridge Alaska Highway Construction. Photo has some waving due to too much glue being used to attach the information sheet onto the back of the photo. If the photo in the listing shows any thin green, red, yellow and/or blue lines, they are the result of a bad scan & the lines are NOT on the actual photo. Photo measures 7 x 8 inches and is dated 9/3/1942.”

Yes they made big improvements about a year after opening it. They built a small log Chapel on either side and in each pontoon there is 3 1/3 days of government issued MRE’s (2/3 for use with the next items), 2 fishing rods, 1 government issued oar, 1 Mae West flotation device (body/bodies finder), 1 government issued handgun with 1 bullet, 1 government issued dull butcher knife with small sharpening stone for effects and government issued (Good Luck) lamented signs posted.
