Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The weekend of March 25 & 26 is the Southwest Military Show in Mesa, Arizona. If you like plans and jeeps, this is a great place to be. As Joe points out below there will be more than a dozen jeeps and jeep-like vehicles.

Visitors will get to see over a dozen jeeps from Slat Grills through M-38s, M151s and HUMMVs, tracked/armored vehicles and hopefully a TANK (or 2), military motorcyles and trucks, plus lots of Militaria for sale. The CAF museum holds dozens of historic military aircraft: see inside WWII aircraft and even opportunities to FLY.
Down the runway on Saturday Mesa is holding the Falcon Field Open House. Go out onto the apron, tour the civil aviation hangars, Impala Bob is hosting a classic car show, displays by Boeing and MD Helicopter and much more.
We (AHMTA) are a chapter of the National MVPA and this is our big annual event. Hope to see you there!
