UPDATE: Price dropped to $3750

(01/17/2017) Looks like a good price.

“1961 Willys CJ3B jeep
condition: good
cylinders: 4 cylinders
drive: 4wd
fuel: gas
title status: clean
transmission: manual
type: offroad
The axles with 4.27 ratio for road speed, transmission, and transfer case with 1 1/4 intermediate shaft are out of a 1971 CJ5. This jeep can run at 50 MPH and does not have the typical “whine” of the older jeeps, it is very reliable, has turn signals, dual brake reservoir upgrade with 10″ brakes, and a 6500 lb winch. The engine is very good with 40 lb oil pressure cruising speed and 10 idling and has an engine oil cooler. Tires are in good condition, good seats, it has some rust on the sides but the floors and hat channels are very solid. This is a very reliable jeep. Price is firm. I do not need help selling.”

Looks to be a 64 with no willys stamping on hood and having amber parking lights. It does have some nice upgrades with the flanged d44 and 10″ brakes. Always amazed when people post only one picture

It is a 61, the original hood was pretty bad and did have the Willys stamping so I replaced with a later one, I put amber parking lights just because I liked the look. Had more pictures but a lot of trouble uploading.

Hey no worries Luis, I’m a big cj3b nut and enjoy talking about them. I’ve owned many of them. I’d be interested in seeing more pictures. Nice jeep and I love the patina

That’s one of the nicest looking Half Tops I’ve ever seen, and with half doors too. Custom made?

I took a square piece of 1/8 plate to a sheet metal shop and gave the dimensions where to bend on top and front. I then clamped the piece to the body and scribed where to cut the contour, added hinged from Lowes, welded a piece of 1/16 X11 flat on the inside to follow the contour and also added some door latches from a set of old canvas door frames. They are quite sturdy. Thanks Dave I’ll send you some pic.
