“Up for sale is my 1970 CJ5 Renegade 1.
This is a great survivor with almost all the factory Renegade items still on the Jeep. There are many spots where you can still see the original “Winner Green” paint, most noticeably inside the tool box under the passenger seat.
Some of the more recognized Renegade items are: The two gauges left of the steering column, dual ballast resitors, factory dash pad, rear marker lights, and oil tank skid plate.
This Jeep runs, stops, steers, and shifts.
The original Buick 225 V6 has been upgraded with the Petronix ignition, new spark plugs and wires, new radiator hoses, water outlet, water pump, and thermostat.
Highly desirable Dana 44 flanged rear axle only available from 1970-1971

Nice Ren. 1 i have owned two. both with rear fuel tanks .my first one was almost mint condition with same running gear as yours.. i should have not sold it but i was starting a buisness. plum polly/crazy purple.
The ren 1 i now have is also an AMC plum crazy purple . but has the twin stick transfer case . The single stick T.C is much quieter .
