“This is a 1946 CJ2A Serial Number 48768 that is in original barn find condition. It has the hard to find governor and rear PTO setup for a farm jeep. It has many original part and has the original motor in it. It does not run, the motor does not turn over and the transmission and transfer case seem to be stuck as well. It is a great candidate for a restoration or just repair what’s needed and drive it. The front floors are the worst of the sheet metal, the rear quarter near the spare tire mount will need some work as well and the windshield is shot.”

I picked this CJ2A from Russ this week. It is in overall good condition with only rust in the front floor panels. Still doing condition assessment. Russ indicated that this was originally purchased from an estate auction in Virginia so I am still trying to research its history. So many Jeeps….so little time…
