“1954 USMC M170 Willys ..runs, drives, stops. You may have seen it running around Hibbing or Side Lake in the last few yrs.

Please do some research online …USMC M170 1954. About 3300 built from 54 to 64, few for the Marine Corps. Find specs like 55mph and 15mpg, unlike it’s predecessors.
It is mechanically a M38A1; for the most part, so parts are inexpensive and easily found online or even out of the TwinCities supply co.

I sanded areas looking for “ambulance” markings and found none. I media-blasted it so as to see real condition …unbelievable that something this old can be this rust-free/straight. One of the reasons I attribute to the “undercoating” the Marine Corps used, that makes current high-dollar bed-liners look weak. I sprayed a couple coats of “green” to keep the condition. It is not “restored”, it’s in honest condition w/nothing hiding.

It appears to have had a “depo” rebuild prior to civilian/gov service, to include a new engine ..runs like a SwissWatch.
It is not in original configuration ..it is 12volt, and does not have original 24volt system.

No joy rides without cash or trade in hand ..lets not waste anyone’s time.

Interested in honest offers and trades, NOT interested in my cash & your trade, but will consider your cash & trade combination. You may believe your trade to be worth more than mine, I know mine is worth more than asking, based on what is/has been out there; but that doesn’t mean we can’t discuss. I might see more value in your trade as it relates to the trading? I like older things, and certainly jeep things.=)
