As for the muffler installation, Remember this is a TEXAS Jeep. That explains it.
So, in Texas they put the muffler in front? I thought maybe this was for bird hunting off the back so they diverted the exhaust to keep it away from the tail gunner?
Mike was kidding, sort of. We have learned that Jeeps in Texas have had some unusual modifications, so he wasn’t surprised that a Texan had put a muffler under there.
I’m no bird hunting expert (heck, I’m not even a novice), but your reasoning sounds plausible. After all, they do have pretty large platform in the rear. I will have to watch for other examples of this. Thanks for the insight.
