Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (04/06/2017) It’s a bit rough, but could have some hard-to-find Traveller parts.
“Rare Willy’s wagon, 4 wheel drive, body only, no motor, no transmission. Jeep wagoneer. Paid $900 for it and then another $600 for front and rear axles, so no low balls. Project for sure but distinctive Americana.”

The driver’s side second gas tank was a factory option. You don’t see too many of them. The factory rear diamond plate step is there too, although mounted differently.
I contacted the seller for more pictures. It was her brother’s who was since passed. She will send more pictures which I will send to Dave.
It’s rough, but hopefully someone out in Willysland will save her.
