Runs. Based on the speedometer, I’d guess this is a 1957.

“Here is a neat old 1950 willys jeep that runs fine. 2-WHEEL DRIVE. No rust. Check the pictures. $4,500. FIRM.”

Spare tire looks like 5 stud, can’t see others. Floor shift tranny and front coil spring helpers. Looks like snaps along the W/S so might have been a convt. We need to get the S/N for our DJ3A Production / Survivor List. Nice appearing DJ3A for a reasonable price, but should get a careful look.

    Glenn,

I agree with Terry that this probably is an ex-M-38 windshield, but it is curious that it has what appear to be twist connecters along the top. It also seems to lack the side connectors for a convertible top, so maybe someone installed a CJ-2A top on this at one time (which also used the same twist connectors). Also, given it has the tailgate, I’m guessing it wasn’t a convertible.

Do you know when Willys Motors changed out the heater in the DJs? Because, that’s a later heater.

Did you notice the coil springs in front between the frame and the axle? I guess it was having some sagging issues.
