“I have a 50 willys that I put a 350 into. Fresh motor with 2500 miles on it. I spent more than this on the motor. Never bored truck block with high Nickle content. Four bolt mains. Large cam. Lunati Roller Rockers with 3/8 bolts. Flat top pistons. Edelbroch intake with a Holley mechanical secondary 750 carburetor. With Camel hump heads. 2.02 1.60 valves. MSD ignition and distributor.

I have more into this motor than I am asking. Buy the motor and get a free truck. I started putting the passenger floor into it and haven’t had the time to finish. It needed the rockers replaced, and you know how that goes. you have to cut back until you get good metal. Made custom brackets to put in a rear seat out of a 70’s wagoneer. Mounted a custom seat to the original tracks on the drivers side. re-wired the whole truck. It’s been untouched now for two years. Before it deteriates, I want to pass it on.

It’s not a rust bucket like most of them. I started repairing a rust bucket and found this one. I cut the full quarter panel off the other truck and started working on this one. (I have both sides even though they are not needed) I also cut the drivers floor that I put in; out of the other one to put into this truck. I have both rear quarter panels. and sills. I would start the motor to keep fluids going every two or three months until this January. I haven’t put a charge on the battery since then but it’s still good. Either the fuel pump was leaking or the fuel hose was. There was snow on the ground so I didn’t investigate. Shut the motor off and put a charger on the battery. If you are interested I will put a new fuel pump into it, or throw an electric pump that I have laying around (if I can find it) and/or fix the hose.

This is a running and moving truck. I had two pieces of glass cut for the doors and I didn’t go back to the shop for three months; well they closed. There is no glass in the doors. I have a bunch of the rubber for the glass. I should still have it all for the doors. What ever I have, it goes with the truck. I’m tired of it being a storage box for the past year. If you are interested, text, I don’t really answer the phone. NineIseven557fourfive49. I’m not going to empty it out or repair it until you are interested. I have another tailgate and the piano hinge. I bought this off the original owners wife and it was garaged until I got it. Cash only, if I wanted to ship it, I would have put it on ebay my self. Don’t ask”

wondering if this might be my grandmother’s old Wilys? she only drove it a couple of times because she hit her driving teacher when she was trying to park it in her garage. she owned the Linden Tree Hotel on Viola Road (long gone). I might have a photo of the back of the jeep from the back sitting her garage (black and white). my uncle might have used it for some errands.
just curious if you have ownership history?

    Hi Phyllis,

Unfortunately, this was listed a few years ago and sold in the interim. I don’t have any contact information for the seller or buyer.

I can create a new post to see if anyone recognizes the wagon. You can email me at d@deilers.com if you’d like me to create the post.

    Thanks,
