“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. Restored and ready to go. Purchased in 2013.
Here is a list of work since 2014 (receipts available)

2014
Overhauled transmission. New gears and synchro assembly replaced.
Engine (L-134) replaced with rebuilt crate unit.
New fuel pump, fan blade, fan belt.
New exhaust manifold and gasket plus exhaust gasket (to exhaust pipe)
New intake manifold, water pump gasket.
New distributor, points, ignition wire set and battery.
New 12 volt conversion alternator installed.

2015
Replaced Emergency Brake and brake cable.
Replaced front exhaust pipe.
Replaced tailgate chains, transmission rubber shift lever boot and transfer case shift lever boot.
New oil pressure gauge metal tube, Right rear axel replaced, replaced bearing and inner and outer seals, new emergency brake drum and shoes, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt master brake cylinder, inspected and reinstalled rear brake shoes. Replaced brake line from master cylinder to rear brake hose and from master cylinder to front T fitting and T fitting to right front hose, replaced oil pump seal, re-sealed rear differential cover, rebuilt front differential (replaced front bearings, both axel shafts, spider gear, rings, used carrier, and clip), replaced both front shackles on front leaf springs and modified brackets for S/S shock to mount correctly, replaced all four u-joints (front and rear drive shafts).
Replaced radiator and thermostat.
Replaced all tires and wheels with military style.
Front steering parts replaced: bellcrank, bump stop, oil pan and gasket replaced.

2016
Replaced oil pump and gaskets.
Replaced Transfer case with rebuilt unit from Kaiser WIllys.com.
Replaced Speedometer.

Transfer case (removed during restoration). It worked well when removed. A service tech suggested the casing was cracked. I could find no crack.

Old speedometer. (Does not appear to be original.)”
