“1964 M677 JEEP FC 170. RARE U.S.M.C. MILITARY JEEP, VERY FEW BUILT AND EXTREMELY HARD TO OBTAIN. 4X4, 302 FORD V8 ENGINE, MANUAL 3 SPEED TRANSMISSION, HI LOW TRANSFER CASE, STOCK AXLES, ENGINE RUNS AND M677 WILL MOVE UNDER IT OWN POWER ,NEEDS TO BE CHECKED AND INSPECTED TO SEE WHAT REPAIRS ARE NEEDED TO DRIVE. LIGHTS AND MOST ELECTRICAL SYSTEM NOT WORKING. UNSURE ABOUT BRAKES AND CONDITION OF ALL OTHER SYSTEMS.”
So FCs can come with extended cab from factory or is this post factory custom or only M677 option? I’ve seen full cabs. Or perhaps I’m just new to the jeep thing. Regardless, its cool and rare!
Made them special for the marines…but not many. They had a three cylinder two-stroke diesel in them.
Dual fuel tanks, one under rear seat. Almost missed that then saw the filler neck on rear left upper cab corner from the rear photos.
Looks like the auction was restarted. As I recall the last one ended without meeting the reserve. High bid was something like $19,700.
Nope I had this one mixed up with this 150.
