UPDATE: See comments looks like a scam. Thanks to Barry for his work on this.

Does a seller really mean a finders fee of half the jeep? I’m confused.

“2 thought to be 1942 Ford Jeeps, 1900 each , finders fee of 1000,”

Terrible pictures and ad. Why mention anything about a finders fee? A lot of cj in there too

C from Minn, I called the person and he’s trying to sell someone else’s property. However, when I got to the $1,000.00 finder’s fee (you find someone to buy them then I’ll pay you $1,000.00) he suddenly said he had terrible phone reception and would call me back at a latter date. In other words, SCAM! This how they start out, but when you start going into detail on how and when and why on the fee they shut down the conversation.

Had my friend call this person (seller) and he has already changed his story and now says the fee is for him if he sells them and wanted to get his number for a latter date when he puts up better photos.

No problems, my friend and I are still waiting on the return call. Oh well! Hope you had a good trip. Very interesting articles today. Had some good laughs at peoples comments. Things that make you go hmmm…

clapped out cobbled together scrap heaps… whoever he’s selling for..
I insisted to go with him to the location an hour outside of Syracuse with my trailer… end of conversation

Were the photos anything like the ones in the dark photos. You can send them to me and Dave. Thanks I haven’t heard back from him.
