I can’t quite tell which front hubs this has.

“1972 Volkswagen bug on a 1947 Willys Jeep frame and motor.
Runs good a lot of new parts, all new breaks.
Needs a few finishing touches, lights not working, have a new wiring harness that needs to be installed.”

This is “all kinds of cool” 😉
Was this type of conversion/combination common? …or is this the first you’ve seen it?

Interesting, I am not sure there is enough air flow for cooling with hood closed. It might need some hood scoops for summertime use.

I love this thing! I tried to get my wife to let me go see it over the holidays and she totally shot me down…the position of the body on the frame and Interior look really good, but I agree that cooling would be questionable.

Matt, I agree with you. The body positioning vis-a-vis the wheels appears well executed. I think the body is the right height off the frame as well. And, everything appears level.

do see holes drilled in lower valance of the vw – possible with some creative duct-work this would keep it cool – neat lookin rig though – lots of fabrication ! !

This is so cool. Don’t mind the grumpy haters. Planning on doing something similiar. Seems like the jeep cj is the best candidate for the swap
