UPDATE: Still Available.

(04/01/2017) Looks good.

“This Jeep is sharp, Buick 350 V-8, Barn doors, 3 speed manual transmission, 4×4. She runs strong and drives nice.
Registered non-op, pink slip in hand, clean title
It’s street legal and ready to come off non-op. NO smog required.
There is some rust on the lower front rocker panels and some surface rust but over all a great looking vehicle.
Interior is not finished. She has lots of new and extra part’s.
True survivor, sound vehicle. Great for a desert project-4wheel drive, or street cruiser. Willy’s the original Jeep!
No trades, No help required in selling, No-unsolicited services or offers.”

1960? Wrong body top and front clip. Anyone agree or disagree. To bad there are no dash pictures. The frame may have a 60 serial# though.

It’s a pre-1957 grill since the 1957 model and later has the 4″ hole for fresh air inlet to the heater.

I personally looked at this thing when it was on a trailer on the side of the road in Ramona CA. Then last month the owner called me( I have no idea how he got my cell phone number) asking me to buy it. I was interested despite it’s faults. It is rough! plenty of rust in the body and there are no interior panels. The frame is pretty clean and it is mechanically sound. The buick 350 is an odd choice though. It has a later dash. so i think it is a ’59 or ’60
It is an actual parkway conversion though. The wheel wells are a sedan delivery and it has fixed rear glass. Great project for someone with more time and money. All my money and time are going to my ’62 4×4 wagon.

Thanks for the insights Tiernan. I’ve noticed that the seller continues to relist it at the same price.
