This looks to be a CJ-3A with an M-38 body and front clip (except for grille).
“This CJ3A has been restored with a rebuilt engine and a new body, braking system, 12-volt electrical system, seats and soft top. In addition, five 6 x 16 inch unmounted wheels are included. It’s not perfect, but it runs well. I will consider reasonable offers.”
Hello, $5000 would be my Maximum offer as thats all I have. I’ll understand if you choose not to accept, I’m a DAV and Med retired,. This is all I can afford, I need a project and have always wanted a m38 as I used to train trainees in them and on my Bucket list. I would truly appreciate you seriously considering my offer, I will have cash in hand if accepted. I live in Danbury, Ct and would be driving this precious cargo home. I plan on joining the Museum Org in Ct to work and get help to finish this vehicle and then Join their Parade group. If offer is accepted you would definitely see this Jeep finally do the rounds in most of the local parades and have your Name as a contribute to its final completion.
